I am originally from California and grew up in Silicon Valley, Northern California. At 21, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Science from Brigham Young University-Idaho. I met my lovely bride-to-be there and got married. I then moved back to California and attended dental school at the University of Southern California. After graduation, I was recruited and accepted for a scholarship through the United States Air Force. I underwent advanced training in general dentistry techniques and, after training, we went to Japan.
During my work at the base dental clinic, I decided to return to school and train as an orthodontist. We moved back to the States and were privileged to be part of a five-person class and got trained at the highly regarded orthodontics program at The Ohio State University. We decided to move to Montana but ended up settling for a job in Wyoming. After meeting Dr. Peter Silcher, the former owner and founder of Silcher Orthodontics, I decided to take on his mantle as the Valley's orthodontist. In April 2020, I officially became the proud new owner and transitioned the practice to Carroll Orthodontics. I feel a great sense of responsibility to take excellent care of every person who walks through our doors.
